Using Moldzyme Indoors: Removing Mold Stains in Kitchens, Bathrooms, Attics, and Crawlspaces
Mold growth in kitchens, bathrooms, attics, and crawlspaces is common due to high humidity and poor ventilation. These areas require effective cleaning solutions that are safe for your home and family. Moldzyme® offers an eco-friendly, non-toxic way to tackle mold and mildew without harsh chemicals or toxic fumes.
Kitchens and Bathrooms
Most mold problems in kitchens and bathrooms are small and localized. For these areas, the Moldzyme® Spray Bottle is the easiest application method. For larger spaces, a pump-up garden sprayer works well.
- Spray Moldzyme® directly on affected surfaces.
- Agitate with a scrub brush or toothbrush.
- Allow the recommended dwell time and wipe clean.
Mold and mildew on caulking can be stubborn. In severe cases, replacing the caulk is best. Moldzyme® is safe for surfaces where food is prepared, making it ideal for countertops and sinks.
Grout and Tile: Spray Moldzyme®, let sit for 5 minutes, scrub with a brush or abrasive sponge. Older grout may require a second application.
Caulk: Remove old caulk, clean grout with Moldzyme®, let dry, and reseal with fresh caulk. Bleach may whiten stains temporarily but does not kill mold inside caulk pores.
Wood and Upholstery: Brush Moldzyme® into the surface, allow 10 minutes, scrub biomass, and rinse with cool water. For upholstery, vacuum moisture before and after treatment.
Attics and Crawlspaces
These areas are difficult to treat with bleach due to toxic fumes in enclosed spaces. Moldzyme® is safe and effective for attics and crawlspaces.
- Apply with a spray bottle, garden sprayer, or chemical fogger.
- Scrub, allow dwell time, and rinse or wipe clean.
- Fogging Moldzyme® is ideal for airborne spores, odors, and large areas, including ventilation ducts after fire or smoke damage.
Choose Moldzyme® for a safe, effective, and eco-friendly solution to mold problems in hard-to-reach areas.
